Foster-Based Rescue
We work with local shelters to give senior and special needs animals a second chance at a happy ending. Our animals are always cared for in a home setting. Our network of devoted foster homes treat them like family, so even if they're never adopted, they've found a home. They are transported to their vet appointments by their foster parent, or one of our volunteers, and at the end of life most are lucky enough to pass in the arms of those that love them. Colorado is fortunate to have many state of the art shelters and animal care facilities, but the end of the day, there's no place like home.

Farm Animal Sanctuary
Unwanted pigs, roosters evicted from their flocks in the city, abandoned Easter ducklings, and orphaned bottle lambs have all worked their way into our home and our hearts. Reptile Rescue and Education
Often overlooked, underappreciated, and even despised, reptiles don't always get the support they deserve. Thousands of reptiles are surrendered to animal shelters each year, often in poor condition due to lack of understanding and proper care. We take sick and special needs reptiles from local shelters to rehabilitate them, and provide education and support to help keep reptiles in homes and out of shelters.

Affordable Veterinary Care
One of Gray Muzzle Society's primary founding principles was to make sure that no one was separated from their furry family member due to financial insecurity. The next phase of our mission aims to increase our impact and extend our reach by providing affordable veterinary care to our entire community.
